LASH LIFT FAQ
What is a lash lift?
It’s basically a perm for your lashes! We will curl your natural lashes up to give you longer-looking lashes without the need for lash extensions. It will look as if you used a really good eyelash curler. It’s a service that looks best on anyone with long, straight natural lashes. A lash tint is an option with the service so you won't need to worry about mascara.
How long does it last?
On average a lash lift lasts about 6-8 weeks. However, it depends on your lash growth cycle and some individuals may need to come sooner than 6 weeks or later than 8 weeks. A Korean lash lift tends to last a bit longer at 7-9 weeks.
What is the difference between a lash lift and a Korean lash lift?
A traditional lash lift focuses on reshaping the lashes to create a lifted, curled appearance using standard lifting solutions, delivering beautiful, immediate results. A Korean lash lift takes a more conditioning-focused approach, using advanced solutions designed to work with the natural lash structure. This prioritizes lash health, flexibility, and integrity, resulting in longer-lasting results and a softer, more seamless grow-out over time.
How should I come to my appointment?
You need to come to your appointment with no makeup (including concealer and foundation on the eyelids and under eyes) and freshly washed lashes.
Can I get a lash lift and eyelash extensions together?
No. The lash lift is used as an alternative to eyelash extensions. If you decide you want eyelash extensions, you have to wait 2 weeks after your lash lift to ensure no damage to your natural lashes.
What do I need to do after my service?
You need to avoid steam, water, oils, lotions, creams, makeup remover, sleeping on your face and mascara for 24 hours after your service. After the initial 24 hours, you can do all of the above besides applying oil to them. For the duration of your lift, do not use products that have a lot of oils around your eyes because it will make the lift fall much quicker.
Will this damage my eyelashes?
No, when performed correctly, neither a traditional lash lift nor a Korean lash lift should damage your natural lashes. We are all certified in lash lifting and use professional techniques that respect the lash structure.
